In 2023, China was the leading market for mobile apps, with users in the country generating approximately 52 billion U.S. dollars in app spending. The United States ranked second, with users spending almost 43 billion U.S. dollars on apps during the last examined year. In 2023, global consumer spending on mobile apps amounted to 171 billion U.S. dollars, up from 167 billion U.S. dollars in 2022.
